Integrative Counselling in Solihull and Online

Initial Consultation

I offer a free 15-minute telephone call where we can discuss what brings you to counselling and how we might work together. This gives you the opportunity to ask any questions and get a sense of whether I'm the right counsellor for you. Alternatively, we can arrange a 75-minute initial session where we can explore your needs in more detail and begin to understand what you'd like to gain from counselling.

My Approach

As an integrative counsellor, I draw from different therapeutic approaches including Person-Centred, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Psychodynamic counselling. This means I can tailor our work together to suit your individual needs and circumstances. Most importantly, I believe in creating a warm, caring and non-judgemental relationship where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Together, we'll work to understand your challenges and collaborate on making the changes you'd like to make in your life.

If you're thinking about starting counselling, I encourage you to get in touch. You can book a free 15-minute consultation call or reach out via email to ask any questions you might have. There will come a time when things feel brighter, and I'm here to support you on that journey.

How I Work

I offer both online and in-person counselling sessions across the West Midlands. For face-to-face sessions, I work from two locations: a fully equipped therapy room in Leamington Spa, complete with a comfortable waiting area and refreshments, and my counselling room in Solihull. These locations make counselling accessible to clients from across Warwickshire, Redditch, Coventry, South Birmingham and surrounding areas.

Many clients find online counselling particularly helpful as it offers greater flexibility and convenience. You can engage in sessions from the comfort of your own home, eliminating travel time and making counselling more accessible if you have caring responsibilities, busy work schedules, or mobility challenges. Online counselling can be especially beneficial if you're seeking support with anxiety, as it allows you to feel secure in your own environment while still building a meaningful therapeutic relationship

Issues I Can Help With

I support people through a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. My particular areas of expertise include bereavement and loss, having experienced significant bereavements myself and supported many others through their grief journey. I have a deep understanding of the emotional challenges faced by carers, especially those supporting loved ones with dementia. I also work extensively with relationship difficulties, helping individuals navigate separation, divorce, and complex family dynamics. Drawing on my experience in healthcare and the judicial system, I bring particular insight to supporting adults who carry the impact of childhood experiences, including adoption, abuse, and challenging family relationships.

Each 50-minute session provides a safe space where you can feel truly heard and supported as we work together toward positive change. Whether you're looking for short-term support or longer-term therapy, I'm here to walk alongside you on your journey.
